Ashampoo Photo Commander is a helpful photo organizer. It can help you organize and categorize all your photos in no time so that you don't have to search for them in countless folders.

Ashampoo Photo Commander has a well organized interface will all the commands in the upper side of the main window for easy access. The program has a large number of features that offers flexibility and allows you, not only to organize your photos but also create albums, slideshows, calendars, collages, contact sheets, photo mixes or frames and cards. Another great feature of this program is that you can edit your pictures with options such as contrast changes, effects, optimization etc.

Ashampoo Photo Commander offers the possibility to burn albums, calendars and other projects you have.
The software is easy to use even for those with less or no experience, but if you find it difficult to use the help section offers a set of comprehensive tutorials and instructions to help you get on your way to organize and get the best of your pictures.

What's new in version 9.3

This version of the Ashampoo Photo Commander comes with many new features and improvements. The new grouping functions provide better overview and management of photos. The dual-view mode enables the direct comparison between original and edited photo. With the help of the IPTC wizard it’s easy to index pictures with terms (tagging) so that they can be filtered and grouped by those terms. It would be better if they provide a freeware of this program with limited functions but more features than the one installed in my computer.

I have used 'Photo-Commander' for keeping tabs on video, beginning with one of the earier versions. In it's current version it does this extremely well (and I'm talking 'a lot of video', 83 DVD's of it carrying an entire doucumentary series stretching over several years). I've tried 'the others' for this task, and none measures up. I use 'Photo-Commander' for video, the stills associated with the overall production, music and sound-effects, by using 'file-associations' to tie as much stuff in with it as possible. As a bonus, I have been able to delete several other items of software which claim to do the same thing, but simply don't measure up. 'Photo-Commander' 7 has earned the five-star rating given it by your reviewer, in my view.
